This is the modern day message in a bottle
My soul written out and sent out to the world to be read
If this message shall return to familiar eyes
My fate will be one of vulnerability but one of freedom
If it falls upon the eyes of strangers
May it set them free
Inspire them to release their soul to the world
I will keep throwing out messages in a bottle until there is nothing left unsaid
No emotion left unexpressed and no thought left mute
I am in those bottles
I just pray that when they land ashore, the message spreads
So that we will be swimming in an ocean of raw emotion
